Rambling River Days – Kiss the Pig

There’s nothing quite like watching a grown adult pucker up to a porker.  In fact, it’s something many Farmington residents are willing to pay cold hard cash to see.  A person kissing a pig, indeed!

Contribute your loose change in specially marked canisters located at local businesses all around town.  The person that collects the most change wins!  And when we say ‘wins,’ we really mean ‘pig smooching.’  This romantic, yet brief getaway will take place at the Schmitz-Maki Arena on June 21 at 5:30 p.m.

Proceeds go to benefit the Rambling River Center

The 2008 Kisser Contestants

All worthy opponents.  Some better looking than others.  Vote with your conscience, but keep the pig’s feelings in mind.

Buffy LaBeau (defending kisser) – Gossips/Longbranch Saloon

Ed Endres Pizza Man

Justin Elvestad – Farmington Fire Department

Jason Kohlbeck – Farmington High School FACS teacher

Jim Gerster, Jr. – Gerster’s Jewelry

Vote for Your Favorite

Just like the 2008 Presidential hopefuls, your kiss the pig contestants want to know how they’re doing in the polls.  Help them determine the next step in their campaign strategy, and let the public know whose canisters need urgent monetary attention.

Everybody Wants To Know
