The
Bed’s are BACK in Town ……Sunday, June 22, 2008
The
25th Annual Rambling River Days Bed Races are BACK and scheduled for Sunday,
June 22nd at 3:30 p.m. at the Schmitz-Maki Arena, Farmington.
Join
us for this TIME-HONORED "Dew Days" tradition and have some with a
team made up of twelve members.
The
Bed Races are open to businesses, organizations and neighborhood teams for an
entry fee of $25, with the money collected going to the Farmington Food Shelf.
The
Race will include an obstacle course as well as a few 'surprises' with more
information to be given on the day of the Race. We encourage teams to make an
impression and be creative with distinctive costumes/clothing to set your This
unique event is a fun and entertaining activity for people of all ages. It's a
great way to raise funds for our local food shelf while promoting team and
community spirit.
Activities
for the Bed Race teams include walking in the RRD parade to help promote the
Bed Races which will take place immediately after the parade at 3:30. Additional optional 'appearances' will be announced at a later date.
